The Kosciusko Band has been a fixture in our town's history since the early 1900's. First organized as a cornet band for townspeople, the band later became a school band and first attended State Festival in 1935 under the direction of Mr. W.G. Skipworth. Since that time the band has earned numerous honors and awards. The band currently has 140 members and is organized into the fall marching band, and the spring symphonic and concert bands. There is also a high school color guard and jazz band. The Jr. High program is divided into 6th grade beginner band, 7th grade band, and 8th grade "Little Red" band. A more detailed history can be found using the links above. We hope you will enjoy reading about our band programs.
